Held 18 months for a better price, 30,000 maunds of potatoes rot in Madaripur cold store

Some 20,000 sacks of potatoes stored at Madaripur Cold Storage since March 2025 have rotted after the owner waited in vain for a higher price; the loss is put at Tk 30 million at current rates.
