1Accepting these terms
By using the two websites of The Agro News — theagronews.com and agronewstoday.com — our newsletter or our social media pages, you accept these terms. Both sites are operated by Fish Expert Limited. Our privacy policy forms part of these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the sites.
2Intellectual property
The stories, headlines, logo, design, graphics and our own photographs and video on the sites belong to The Agro News. Stories, photographs or information published under the name of another organisation, outlet or photographer belong to them, and are used under their terms or licence.
3How you may use our content
- You may read, print and save our content for personal, non-commercial use.
- You may share any story anywhere with its link or the share buttons.
- You may quote a few lines, crediting “The Agro News” and linking to the original story.
- Republishing, altering or commercially using a whole story, photograph or video on another website, publication, channel or social media page needs our written permission.
- Collecting content by automated means (scrapers, bots), trying to breach the sites’ security, or disrupting their normal working is prohibited.
- You may not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we are linked to, or endorse, any party, organisation, product or opinion.
5News, photos and video you send us
When you send us news, information, photographs or video, you confirm that it is yours or that you have the right to send it. We may check, edit and publish it; if we publish it, we credit you by name unless you ask to stay anonymous. We cannot promise to publish everything we receive.
6Sources and accuracy
Every story names its source; news from outlets and institutions at home and abroad is published with credit to them. We do our utmost to be accurate, but we cannot guarantee that all information is complete and correct.
Market prices (Department of Agricultural Marketing), fertiliser prices and weather (MET Norway) are provided for information. Check with the relevant authority or an expert before a buying, selling, farming or investment decision. Farming advice on the sites does not replace the advice of your local agriculture officer.

7Corrections policy
When a factual error is found in a story, we check it and correct it promptly. A significant correction is noted in the story; simple spelling or typing errors are fixed without a note. If you spot an error, send us the story’s link.
8Advertising and sponsored content
Advertising on the sites comes from advertisers including Google AdSense. Advertisers are responsible for their messages, products and services; carrying an advertisement is not an endorsement. Sponsored reports are kept apart from the news and labelled as paid. How advertisers use information is explained in our privacy policy.
9Links and other websites
Stories, advertisements and embedded videos may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices.
10Availability and liability
- We cannot guarantee that the sites will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses; they may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.
- The Agro News is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of information on the sites.
- Keep your own device protected with an up-to-date browser and security software.
11Removing content
The Agro News may edit, update or remove any story, photograph, comment or other content without prior notice.

We are not responsible for any other site, page or account that uses our name, logo or stories. If you come across one, please tell us.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of Bangladesh. Any dispute about them falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
14Changes to these terms
The Agro News may change these terms at any time. The new terms will be published on this page and the date above will change; using the sites after that means you accept them.
