Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics figures show capsicum production rising from about 150 tonnes in 2021-22 to 475 tonnes in 2024-25, with Bhola growing 55 percent of the crop and one Jashore farmer reporting average sales of Tk 50 lakh a year.
