Enjoy Vegetable Lollies While Winter Lasts

Crisp vegetable lollies are a fun way to serve winter vegetables, especially to children tired of the usual curries.

Vegetables

When winter comes, markets fill with fresh vegetables of many colours: cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, beans and peas. This abundance pleases both eye and mind. But eating the same curries every day can get monotonous, especially for children. Presenting vegetables in a different way may be the best answer.

While winter lasts, enjoy familiar vegetables in a new form. Make tasty, crunchy vegetable lollies at home. With a great combination of taste and nutrition, these lollies will satisfy, and the winter vegetables will be eaten happily. Here is the recipe.

First, put all the ingredients except the breadcrumbs, flour, egg and oil into a bowl and mix them together well. Shape the mixture into lollipops. Separately, beat the egg well with 2 tablespoons of water and the flour. Dip each lollipop in the egg, roll it in breadcrumbs and fix it on a stick. When they are all done, put them in the fridge for about an hour.

Finally, take the lollies out of the fridge and deep-fry them in oil over a low flame. Once fried, place them on kitchen towel or tissue. Your tasty, crunchy vegetable lollies are ready. Serve with a sauce of your choice.
