Users of Nusuk, the digital platform of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, can win a free Umrah package in a daily draw by answering a quiz on the app, Ittefaq reports. The contest began on 1 November and runs until 30 November.
According to the report, the Saudi government covers the winner's costs. The package includes return flights from the winner's home country, the Umrah visa fee and government procedures, and 10 nights of accommodation in Makkah and Madinah. Each day's winner can take one family member or companion along.
Ten more people each day win 20 cards for Zamzam water, 10 for themselves and 10 to give to others.
Muslims aged 18 or over anywhere in the world can take part. They must download the official Nusuk app, sign up with their name, email, country and a valid passport number, and verify the account with a one-time code sent by email.
From the app's menu they then go to the Game Center or Nusuk Challenge section and choose a subject: the Quran, the life of the Prophet, the rules of Umrah or Islamic history. After collecting a digital key, a correct answer to a multiple-choice question puts their name into that day's draw. Inviting friends or family with a personal code earns extra keys.
The report says only the official Nusuk app or verified channels should be used.
