How to Make Ripe Mango Sandesh

Soft, melt-in-the-mouth sandesh made with ripe mango is an easy summer dessert that needs only a few ingredients.

Fruits

Summer means the taste of juicy ripe mangoes. Turn those mangoes into soft, delicious sandesh and anyone with a sweet tooth will be twice as happy. This dessert with a difference is easy to make with a few ingredients from the kitchen.

Ripe mango sandesh can be a lovely sweet treat on hot days, whether for guests or for the whole family. Here is how to make melt-in-the-mouth mango sandesh easily.

First peel the ripe mangoes, cut them into small pieces and blend into a smooth puree. Heat ghee in a pan, pour in the mango puree and cook lightly for a few minutes, stirring.

Then add sugar, milk powder and mawa together. Lower the heat and keep stirring so the mixture does not stick to the bottom of the pan. When it thickens and the ghee begins to separate at the sides of the pan, turn off the heat and take it off. When it has cooled a little, shape it as you like, arrange and serve.
