Feeling suddenly tired in the heat? A glass of green mango sharbat can bring instant cool relief. This nutritious, refreshing drink is quick and simple to make, quenches thirst in the heat and keeps the body hydrated. Here is the recipe.

First peel the mangoes, cut them into small pieces, wash them well and drain. Put the mango pieces in a blender with mint leaves, green chilli, sugar, black salt, cumin and ground black pepper and a little water, and blend well.

When it becomes a smooth paste, add water as needed and mix well. Your tasty green mango sharbat is ready. Serve it in your favourite glass; those who like it colder can add crushed ice.

Sharbat made with green mango is very popular in the hot season. The vitamin C and salt in it help protect the body from heatstroke.
