Garlic Will Change the Taste of Carrots: Here Is the Recipe

A simple recipe for carrots fried with garlic, a quick side dish for rice or roti.

Vegetables

Many people eat plain fried carrots regularly, but if you want a slightly different taste, garlic could be the secret ingredient. Just a few cloves of garlic can change the taste of carrots and can add to their nutritional value too.

The gentle sharpness of garlic with lightly fried carrots gives a distinctly homely flavour that goes very well with rice or roti. The dish is made with simple ingredients in little time and will bring something new to routine cooking. Here is the easy recipe for garlic carrots.

First heat oil or butter in a karai and fry chopped garlic on a low heat. When the garlic releases its aroma, add the carrots and fry on a medium heat for 5 minutes. Now add salt and black pepper. When the carrots are nicely fried, sprinkle lemon juice over them and serve hot.
