Make a Dragon Fruit Milkshake With Four Ingredients

Dragon fruit blended with cold milk, sugar or honey and crushed ice makes a quick, nutritious milkshake for hot days.

Fruits

Dragon fruit is no longer just a foreign fruit; it is now an easily available and relatively cheap source of nutrition. Rich in antioxidants, fibre, vitamin C and essential minerals, it keeps the body refreshed and helps strengthen immunity. Instead of eating the fruit the same way every day, try making a chilled dragon fruit milkshake.

Combining the nutrition of milk with the natural goodness of dragon fruit, the drink gives a quick burst of energy, aids digestion and is very refreshing on hot days. Because it is colourful and attractive, children in the family will enjoy it too. It makes a healthy drink for a morning or afternoon snack.

First peel the dragon fruit and cut the flesh into small pieces. Put the dragon fruit pieces, cold milk, sugar or honey and crushed ice into a blender together.

Blend everything well for one to two minutes until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Pour the milkshake into serving glasses and garnish with chopped nuts and a few pieces of dragon fruit. Serve the tasty, nutritious dragon fruit milkshake well chilled.
