CropsChina steps up treatment of acidified farmland to lift grain capacity
A new agriculture ministry document targets acidified red, lateritic and yellow soils with region-specific fertilisation, field improvement and monitoring, building on 2023 projects in 20 counties and the 15th Five-Year Plan's goal of 50 million tonnes more grain capacity.
