Crops7,400 traps set as yellow-legged hornet threatens U.S. honey bees
USDA's Plant Protection and Quarantine programme and three south-eastern states are stepping up trapping and surveys after the invasive hornet, first found in Georgia in 2023, was confirmed in North Carolina.
