Environment97 percent of Bangladesh's e-waste goes informal; only seven handlers registered
On International E-Waste Day, a TIB study shows about 97 percent of consumer e-waste collection is informal and only seven firms are registered with the Department of Environment, while lead, mercury and cadmium leak into soil, water and air.
