Professor Muhammad Yunus, chief adviser of the interim government, will visit China on 26 March. He will speak at an international conference there, which leaders from various countries will attend.

Press secretary Shafiqul Alam gave the information at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road in the capital on Thursday, 13 March.

Shafiqul Alam said: "We are hopeful that, on the sidelines of the conference, the chief adviser will hold a bilateral dialogue with Chinese President Xi Jinping."
