New foods and drinks go viral on social media from time to time. Lately the fragrant, unusual orange tea has been getting attention: the aroma of sweet-sour orange and the taste of hot tea combine to make a distinctive drink.

It can be made at home with a few very simple ingredients, so you too can enjoy this different-tasting tea without leaving the house. Here is the recipe.

First squeeze the juice from an orange. Heat water in a pot on the stove and add tea leaves, bay leaves, cardamom and crushed cinnamon. Boil for 2-3 minutes and take it off the heat.

Fill a cup halfway with the orange juice, then slowly add the hot spiced water. Finally add honey. Your viral orange tea is ready.
