Dajjal is a terrible trial. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) sought refuge with Allah from the trial of Dajjal and taught his followers practices to stay safe from it.
Friday is the best day of the week, and the Quran and hadith describe many practices for it. Reciting Surah Kahf is one of them, and hadith say this practice brings protection from the trial of Dajjal.
What the narrations say
Abu Darda narrated that the Prophet said: "Whoever memorises the first ten verses of Surah Kahf will be protected from the trial of Dajjal." (Sahih Muslim, hadith 809)
Another narration says: "Whoever recites the last ten verses of Surah Kahf will be protected from the trial of Dajjal." (Musnad Ahmad, 6/446)
A further narration says: "Whoever recites ten verses of Surah Kahf will be protected from the trial of Dajjal."
Another hadith says: "If he comes upon any of you, let him recite over him the opening of Surah Kahf." (Muslim)
The article ends with a prayer that Allah enable the Muslim ummah to follow these practices to protect themselves from the terrible trial of Dajjal.
