More than 1.2 million Umrah pilgrims from 109 countries have reached Saudi Arabia since the new Umrah season began. Citing Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Our Islam reports that arrivals on Umrah visas are up 30 percent on the same period last year, and visas issued are up 27 percent.

The figures run from the start of the season to 30 Muharram. More than 4,200 agreements have been signed between Saudi Umrah companies and agents in other countries to handle the numbers.

Digital services in Umrah management have been expanded as part of Saudi Vision 2030. Through the Nusuk app, pilgrims can arrange various Umrah services and the permits they need from home.

After the 2026 Hajj, Saudi Arabia stepped up administrative and digital preparations for the new season. Improving pilgrims' experience and opening Umrah to more people in future are among the goals of Vision 2030.
