Ripe Mango Lassi

With ripe mangoes just arriving in the market, a chilled mango lassi made with sweet yoghurt and pistachios is an easy drink for the hot weather.

Ripe mangoes have only just started to appear in the market. Those who like lassi can make it with ripe mango, and it has a taste of its own. In this heat, a glass of chilled lassi will refresh you in a moment.

Ripe mango has many nutrients, and yoghurt and pistachios are healthy too. Mango lassi is made by combining these ingredients. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients


  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup sweet yoghurt
  • 2 or 3 pistachios, chopped
  • A pinch of ground cardamom

Method


First wash the ripe mango well and peel it, then remove the stone. Blend the mango and pour it into a glass bowl. Next blend the yoghurt, sugar and crushed ice together.

Pour the mango into the yoghurt mixture and blend once more. When it is done, pour it into glasses and sprinkle ground cardamom and chopped pistachios on top. Your ripe mango lassi is ready. Serve it chilled.
