Pomegranate has many benefits, which is why doctors advise drinking pomegranate juice regularly. Many people love pomegranate, but getting the seeds out is quite difficult, and many waste most of the juice in the process. Does that happen to you too?
Once you know the right and easy way, removing pomegranate seeds will no longer feel like a hassle. Let's see how to peel a pomegranate without wasting a single drop of juice.
Four easy methods
- First cut off the top of the pomegranate. Then cut it into six pieces, but not all the way through. Turn the fruit upside down with a bowl underneath and press on the top with a spoon or your hand. The seeds will start collecting in the bowl, and not a single seed will be wasted.
- Before cutting, press gently on the pomegranate. Roll it on the kitchen slab while pressing down; this loosens the seeds. Then remove them using the method above.
- Cut the peel at the top of the pomegranate in a rectangular shape with a knife. You will see the fruit's six sections. Cut the pomegranate along them and remove the seeds. This way you will not need to cut away the white part separately.
- You can soak the pomegranate in water for a while before cutting. The seeds will come away from the peel or soften a little. Then use any of the methods to remove the seeds easily.
