Paradise is the eternal home of peace promised to Allah's obedient servants, and those who enter it will have different ranks. According to the hadith, the first to enter will be the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet said: 'I will be the first to come to the gate of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection and knock. The keeper will ask, Who are you? I will say, Muhammad. He will say, I was commanded on your account not to open it for anyone before you.' (Sahih Muslim 197)
The hadith makes clear the Prophet's special rank. Allah sent him as a mercy to all mankind, and he taught people the oneness of God, faith, worship and good character.
This honour is also good fortune for his community, since by following the path he showed they too may earn Paradise.
The believer's duty, therefore, is to love the Prophet's Sunnah, follow his example and live by the path he showed.
