Add a Tasty Egg Chop to Your Iftar

A crisp, spicy egg chop made with simple ingredients at home can brighten the iftar table.

Vegetables

Iftar after a day of fasting is a time to look for something a little different and tasty. If hot egg chops join the usual chickpeas and puffed rice, peyaju or beguni, the iftar table becomes even more inviting. Crisp outside and soft boiled egg inside, with the kick of spices and the aroma of golden frying, it sharpens everyone's appetite. This popular snack can easily be made at home with simple ingredients. Here is the recipe.

First boil the eggs and potatoes and peel them. Mix the potatoes well with all the other ingredients. Cut the eggs in half or into four pieces and cover them with the potato mixture.

Meanwhile, beat one egg with a little salt. Dip the egg chops in the beaten egg and roll them in breadcrumbs. When the oil in the pan is hot, fry the chops until they turn brown. Your delicious egg chops are ready.
