Made with cabbage, egg and rice flour, this light and nutritious winter pitha is easy to cook with everyday ingredients.

Cooking

Pitha tastes different in winter, and if the pitha is made with tasty cabbage, you may not think of any other kind after trying it once. This light, nutritious pitha is also very easy to make: you can prepare this winter special in very little time with ordinary ingredients from home. Here is the recipe.

Method

First chop the cabbage finely, wash it well and boil it. Mix all the spices into the boiled cabbage. Then add egg and mix well again. Finally mix in the rice flour and make a dough.

Heat oil in a frying pan and put in the dough, shaping it to any size you like. Use enough oil so that it reaches every part of the pitha. Fry both sides well on a low flame. When done, serve with the sauce of your choice.
