Okra in flower, a cattle plough and a basket of greens on an autumn morning

Okra blossom in Sirajganj, dew on a creeper in Rangamati, a farmer taking his cattle to plough in Rangpur and Malabar spinach for sale in Cumilla: Bangladesh's fields and roads on 17 October through Prothom Alo's photographers.

Dew settles on the creepers at dawn and mist hangs over the mornings as late autumn arrives. These are some of the pictures Prothom Alo's photographers took of fields, farms and roads in several districts on 17 October.

Okra is in flower in Tarash, Sirajganj; a farmer in Rangpur sets off with his cattle to plough; a woman in Batiaghata, Khulna, picks fruit and vegetables from her field; and in Daudkandi, Cumilla, a seller heads out with a basket full of Malabar spinach.
