Green chilli rose from Tk 120 to Tk 160 and yardlong bean from Tk 80 to Tk 120 a kilogram in Chattogram's kitchen markets in a week, while sellers blamed flood, heavy rain and heat losses on poultry farms for eggs and broiler refusing to come down.
