Real estate businessman Mobarak Hossain of Shyampur, Birulia, Savar, has an impressive farming venture. Rather than leave a large plot empty, in 2014 he began raising cows, geese, Khaki Campbell ducks, local chickens, turkeys and other animals and birds. At the same time, he grows useful vegetables and various fruits across the yard.

In Toronto, Canada, expatriate Bengali Kamruk bin Razzak grows local vegetables in his yard. He moved to Canada in 2015 and, to make up for the lack of Bangladeshi vegetables and fruit, started farming his yard.
