Yamaha Bangladesh has planted several thousand forest and fruit trees in Dhaka and other districts of the country, working with the Yamaha Riders Club. The programme will continue until June.

In view of the ongoing intense heatwave, ACI Motors, the sole distributor and technical collaboration partner of Yamaha motorcycles in Bangladesh, announced on 21 April that it would plant two trees for every motorcycle sold to a customer. As part of this, Yamaha launched a programme titled "Plant trees for a clean life", and began a tree-planting drive in different districts together with the Yamaha Riders Club.

Under the programme they have planted several thousand forest and fruit trees in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Bogura and other parts of the country. Members of the Yamaha Riders Club said the programme would continue until June.

The Yamaha Riders Club is the country's largest biking community of Yamaha motorcycle riders, with more than ten thousand registered members nationwide. Besides biking activities, members take part in various social welfare work.
