Amid the bustle of Chattogram city, an unusual farm-based venture has been built on about 12.5 bighas: Well Agro Farm. With fruit and crop fields, a dairy farm, fish ponds, farm education activities for children and the preservation of rural heritage, it offers a complete agritourism experience.
More than production
The aim is not only production but to make city people, especially the young, aware of how food is produced, why agriculture matters and where safe food comes from. People who have no roof or yard to farm can gain hands-on experience here.
Children learn by doing
Children harvest crops with their own hands, learn to plant trees, draw and work with clay, building a deep bond with nature. Visitors can also buy fresh produce and value-added farm products from the farm.
