More than 500 mango saplings have been distributed to various educational institutions in Shayestaganj upazila of Habiganj, at the initiative of Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Sumon and with the support of Shayestaganj Zenon Friends.

Barrister Sumon inaugurated the sapling distribution on Thursday afternoon (13 July) at Shayestaganj Islami Academy and High School.

Those present included Shayestaganj upazila parishad vice-chairman Gaziur Rahman Imran, Shayestaganj Islami Academy and High School headmaster Mohammad Nurul Haque, Shayestaganj Girls' High School headmaster Abidur Rahman, and Chunarughat municipal Awami League organising secretary Shafiqur Rahman Sohag.
