The Rotaract Club of Rangamati has held a tree-planting programme under the slogan "Spread oxygen, save lives".

The programme took place on the afternoon of 10 July on the grounds of Godhuli Amanat Bagh Government Primary School. It was presided over by the club's president, Rotaractor Nazma Akter, with the school's head teacher, Hasina Begum, as chief guest.

Nazma Akter said Rotaract clubs work all over the world, and clubs in Bangladesh are part of that effort. "We want the whole world to be filled with green. Trees are our friends, and by planting trees we want to spread oxygen."

Also present were the club's PP Rotaractor Aminul Islam Ratul, IPP Rotaractor Ali Hossain, vice-president Rotaractor Saiful Hasan, club secretary Rotaractor Sadia Yasmin Panna, community service director Rotaractor Sajeda Akter, and sergeant-at-arms Rotaractor Iqbal Khandaker.
