Rooftop farming has become a social movement. People who want to befriend plants, whatever their position, no longer keep their interest in farming to themselves; it is visible. Farming is now under way on the roofs of many government institutions and on the roofs and grounds of many educational institutions. Ministers and their families farm at official residences, and many senior officials spend much of their free time with fruit, crops and plants. Farming is now a positive activity worth talking about.

Mesbah Uddin, additional secretary at the Ministry of Local Government and secretary general of the Officers' Club, has kept farming connected to his professional life. As an agriculturist, he has knowledge of farming, along with great enthusiasm.
