But one young woman has learned the hard way that such stunts can turn dangerous at any moment. Trying to show her courage by kissing a python, she was bitten on the lip. A video of the incident has spread online.

Thanks to the internet, all kinds of snake videos turn up often, and many people go viral performing tricks with snakes. This time, though, a young woman got into trouble trying to kiss one.

The video, viral on Twitter, shows two young men carrying a huge python several feet long on their shoulders. One holds the snake's head end up, while the other holds up the tail end with both hands. The young woman comes to see the snake and first strokes its body. Then she lowers her face to kiss its head, and that is when things go wrong.

Within moments she pays for her daring. As soon as she brings her face close, the snake grabs her lip in its jaws. She had not anticipated that such danger could come so suddenly, and it is clear she was in pain. What happened next is not shown in the video.
