Shykh Seraj went to film the rooftop farming series at the century-old Narayanganj High School and College, which Rabindranath Tagore himself visited in 1928. On the school roof, pupils farm under the supervision of teacher Srikanta Chandra Nandi.
A young plant expert
More striking than the rooftop farm was one pupil, Suha Sahani. Surprisingly, she named every flowering plant. Whatever she was asked, she had the answer, even when others could not. Seraj said he was charmed by the talent of this fourth-grader.
He sent his love to all the school's pupils and congratulated the school authorities on the rooftop farming initiative.
