With just three years of rooftop farming, Jahanara Laizu of Jatrabari in the capital has become skilled at farming. Her rooftop farm began in 2016 with the planting of just two guava seedlings. Today her two-tier roof is full of plants, fruit and crops.

She has already begun using updated farming technologies and learned the important points. The family believes that the start of rooftop farming matters most; after that, plants and crops teach new lessons along the way.
