Tree saplings have been distributed among more than 400 students of Ghonarchala High School in Sakhipur upazila of Tangail. Upazila secondary education officer Md Harun-Or-Rashid handed the saplings to the students at around 11am on Wednesday (27 September).

The event was presided over by the school's managing committee president Md Azharul Islam. Former Kalia union chairman SM Kamrul Hasan, former chairman Amjad Hossain Master, founding president Ali Ahammed Talukder, acting head teacher Md Nazrul Islam and former head teacher Md Abdul Kader Morttuja were among those present.

The chief guest told the students that they must gain skills to help build a Smart Bangladesh from a Digital Bangladesh, and make themselves successful and worthwhile people by contributing at every level of society.
