Fruits to Eat for Healthy Skin

However much care you give your skin from outside, eating the right fruits regularly helps keep it healthy and bright.

However much you care for your body from the outside, it is hard to keep your skin bright unless the right foods reach it from within. Eating fruit regularly keeps skin healthy, and several fruits are especially good for it.

Apple: apples are rich in vitamins A and C, dietary fibre, potassium and magnesium. They contain plenty of antioxidants, which remove free radicals from the skin, keeping it healthy.

Lemon: lemons contain a natural bleaching agent and plenty of vitamin C, which help remove spots and blemishes. They also help remove toxins from the body.

Papaya: papaya has many benefits. Eat six to eight pieces of ripe papaya every day and your skin will regain its glow.

Banana: bananas contain amino acids, potassium and plenty of water. They keep skin hydrated and reduce acne.

Mango: a good source of vitamins A and C, which help tone the skin and keep it youthful.

Pomelo: like other sour fruits, pomelo works as a skin cleanser. It is especially useful for oily and acne-prone skin.
