How to cook drumstick flowers
Ingredients:
- Drumstick flowers, 1 cup
- Potatoes cut small, 1 cup
- Chopped tomato, half a cup
- Whole mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon
- Poppy seeds, 2 teaspoons
- Black peppercorns, 4-5
- Chopped garlic, 1 spoon
- Green chillies, 2
Method: First wash the drumstick flowers well and drain them. Then soak them in lukewarm water with a little salt. Grind the mustard seeds, poppy seeds, peppercorns and chillies in a mixer. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic.
When it is lightly fried, add the cut potatoes and stir a little. When the potatoes are nearly fried, add the chopped tomato and salt. Add half a cup of water and let it cook for a while.
Finally add the drumstick flowers, stir for 2-3 minutes and take off the heat. Serve with hot rice.
