The prison authorities have arranged hospitality with seasonal fruit, sherbet and other food for the relatives of inmates held at Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj.

Md Jannat-ul Farhad, assistant inspector general (media and development) of the Department of Prisons, gave the information in a press release on Saturday (7 June).

In the release he said visitors to Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj were welcomed with the seasonal fruit litchi and sherbet made with Rooh Afza. Children were given lollipops, sweets and crisps.

In addition, a cultural programme was organised for the inmates of Dhaka Central Jail on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, and the prisoners enjoyed it in a festive atmosphere.
