In this episode of CropKids, viewers meet Hasib Mia, a tenth-grade student. Although he lives in a crowded residential area, he has built a small green garden, showing that anyone who loves farming can move forward with it.

Hasib shows how to plant bottle gourd seedlings easily on a roof or balcony: which pot to use, how to prepare the soil and how much of which fertiliser to give, step by step.

Both bottle gourd leaves and the gourd itself are very nutritious, and children can grow their own vegetables at home. CropKids aims to spread a love of farming among children.
