Chhuti Resort, one of the country's resort brands, has launched its Tree Plantation Programme 2026. The programme, organised to protect the environment and build a green Bangladesh, was joined by the company's brand ambassador, Bidya Sinha Mim.

At the event the popular actress planted saplings of Krishnachura and various fruit, timber and native species with her own hands. She urged everyone to plant at least one tree each.

"Let each of us plant at least one tree. Through this let us make the country green and ensure a beautiful and safe environment for the next generation," Mim said. She thanked Chhuti Resort for the initiative.

The organisers said Chhuti Resort has been planting local and foreign fruit, timber and rare tree species every year since 2012. Under the 2026 programme it plans to plant about 4,000 saplings over the next month at its four resorts and at project sites under construction.

Present were Chhuti Group chairman Advocate Mostafa Mahmud Arifi, managing director Mostafa Kamal, Chhuti Resort Purbachal managing director Alamgir Ferdous and Chhuti Resort Pubail managing director Md Samsul Islam Masud, along with officials, staff and guests.

Chhuti Resort said such initiatives to build a green and sustainable environment will continue in future.
