A major industrial entrepreneur is dreaming big with biofloc. Young industrialist Abdullah Zaber has set up a high-density fish farming plant to supply pure protein to the thousands of workers at his factories, and after early production success he sees great potential, Shykh Seraj reports.

Biofloc is a method of commercial, high-density fish farming in tanks in a yard or indoors, rather than in rivers, water bodies or ponds. The message of biofloc has spread everywhere, and many have shared success stories after starting with proper knowledge. Now Abdullah Zaber, head of the Noman Group, has joined them, with a biofloc farm in part of his large industrial complex.

Six months ago, various fish were stocked in 11 tanks of different sizes following all scientific rules, and the entrepreneur says actual production has matched the target.

Abdullah Zaber plans to expand the project to meet the fish demand of the company's 70,000 workers, and as a young businessman he also dreams of exporting fish.
