One thousand tree saplings have been distributed among various police offices in Barishal. Barishal Range DIG SM Aktaruzzaman opened the programme at the Police Lines grounds at around 11am on Sunday (23 July).

DIG SM Aktaruzzaman and Superintendent of Police Md Wahidul Islam handed out fruit, timber and medicinal plant saplings to students of the Police Lines' Doha Government Primary School.

Superintendent of Police Md Wahidul Islam and Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md Shahjahan Hossain then handed saplings to the officers in charge of police stations across the district.

Those present included Additional Superintendent of Police (Gournadi Circle) Sharmin Sultana Rakhi, Md Farhad Sardar of the Bakerganj Circle, Md Matiur Rahman of the Muladi Circle and officers in charge of various police stations.
