Agriculture Minister Dr Md Abdur Razzaque is going to Chapainawabganj on a one-day official visit on Thursday (13 July), during which he will visit several mango orchards in the district.

On Thursday he will fly into Rajshahi at 8:15am and set off from Rajshahi for Chapainawabganj at 9am.

Confirming the visit, Palash Sarkar, deputy director of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) in Chapainawabganj, said the minister will visit mango orchards in Nachole upazila, including that of mango grower Rafiqul Islam, at 10am. At noon he will visit Azan Trade International's multi-storage facility in Kansat union, Shibganj upazila, and the Chhatrajitpur polynet house.

At 3pm the minister will join a workshop on mango production and marketing at the Regional Horticulture Research Station, BARI, in Chapainawabganj.

He will leave Chapainawabganj for Rajshahi at 4:30pm and fly out of Rajshahi for Dhaka at 6:15pm.
