CropsCIMMYT sends more than 4,000 maize and wheat seed samples to the Svalbard vault
The new deposit extends the safety backup of the genebank in Mexico, which holds about 28,630 maize and more than 124,000 wheat accessions conserved as global public goods for research and breeding.
