OrganicSmall family farms run over 40 percent of US organic land, most of it owned
Most organic acres in the contiguous United States were farmer-owned in 2024, and small family farms operated more than 40 percent of organic land, ahead of large family farms at 24 percent and midsize at 19 percent.
