Bayer's direct-seeded rice programme in India passes 81,000 hectares

DirectAcres, which helps farmers move from transplanting rice to sowing seed directly, has grown from 3,500 hectares in 2023 to more than 81,000 hectares (over 200,000 acres) in 2026 across nine Indian states.
