Some people keep Sonali chickens purely to produce eggs. To make a farm more profitable, raising egg output is essential. Here is how to do it.

The first priority is the feeding system, because a hen's egg production depends on how she is fed. Sonali chickens must be given a balanced, nutritious diet.

Light and air must circulate in the shed at all times, so it is better to build the farm in an open place. The farm must be cleaned regularly, kept from becoming damp and kept dry at all times.

Clean drinking water must be supplied along with feed, with water containers placed at intervals inside the shed. To raise egg output, Sonali farms should follow a lighting schedule like that used for layers, though the schedule may vary a little.

Birds must be vaccinated regularly and dewormed on time, and their health should be checked from time to time. Watch which hens are laying and which are not, and give the ones that are not laying separate care.
