A bull prepared for the sacrifice at a farm in Madaripur has been named "Prince Mamun". It weighs an estimated 25 maunds and is priced at Tk 15 lakh. Many people are crowding in to see it.

Ayub Ali Bepari lives in the Mathabhanga area of Khoajpur union in Madaripur Sadar upazila. He has a farm, and it is there that the bull named Prince Mamun is being raised.

The jet-black bull is 12 feet long and six and a half feet wide. It needs about 25 kg of food a day over three meals, and likes straw, oilcake, grass and bran best.

Zahid Khan of the Mohishercher area of Madaripur Sadar upazila said: "I rushed here to see the bull. I like it a lot, but because the price is high I don't dare to buy it."

Shamim Hossain Bepari, younger brother of farmer Ayub Ali Bepari, said the bull has been raised entirely on concentrate feed. "We're hoping for a price that matches the effort for Prince Mamun. Buyers are coming and making offers. Our cherished Prince Mamun may well be sold before the sacrifice."

The bull's owner, Ayub Ali Bepari, said: "The bull is very handsome, as handsome as a prince. Prince Mamun is handsome too, so we named it after the TikToker Prince Mamun. If I get Tk 15 lakh, I'll sell it."
