He has been very short-tempered since he was small and is somewhat different from other animals. His coat is black and white, and his owner has fondly named him "Cheeta". Belal Hossain of the Laldoba Mohishbathan area in Madarganj upazila, Jamalpur, has been raising the bull for about three years.

Cheeta, a Friesian-local cross, weighs 11.5 maunds. Many people have already shown interest in buying him, but Belal Hossain has not sold because he has not been offered the price he wants.

"I am a farmer. I have been raising cattle for a long time. This bull is from my own herd (born to a cow I keep). From birth he was noticeably different. Because he is so short-tempered, I named him 'Cheeta'," said Belal Hossain.

"Since he was young I have fed him broken rice, bran and sweet potatoes. Qurbani Eid is coming, so I am thinking of selling him, because raising such a big cow is not possible for me. If I get Tk 2 lakh 70 thousand, I will sell. Since he is from my own herd, the price can be adjusted if someone is interested," he said.

Sakib Hasan, a local who came to see the bull, told Jago News: "The cow looks small in size but is very lively. Belal Hossain is raising it on local feed."

Madarganj livestock officer Dr Habibur Rahman told Jago News that the district administration has opened an online platform called "Qurbanir Haat Jamalpur" ahead of Eid, where photos of different breeds of cattle are uploaded to attract buyers. He said he did not know about the animal called "Cheeta", but that if the owner contacts the office, it will try to help in every way.
