A blood-red sun through fog and dust, and a fisherman on the river

The sun appeared deep red above the trees across the river this morning, its colour deepened by thick fog and a layer of dust hanging in the air. Prothom Alo photographer Supriyo Chakma caught the scene in a photo story.

Once fully up, the sun laid a red reflection on the calm water, where a fisherman was at work in his boat. When it slipped behind cloud the red gave way to golden light, and slowly the fog lifted and ordinary daylight returned.
