Flower and fruit drop in trees is a natural process. But sometimes environmental, nutritional or disease-related causes can lead to excessive drop, which can cut the tree's yield and hurt agricultural production.

• Do not let the soil at the base of the tree dry out too much.
• When flowering is due, do not apply nitrogen-rich fertiliser.
• Apply potash fertilisers at this time.
• Use Flora on the tree.
• If possible, also use micronutrients.

• Spraying anything during pollination.
• Daytime temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius.
• Night temperatures below 16 degrees Celsius are also a problem.
• Boron deficiency.
• Fungal attack.
• Heavy rainfall and strong wind or storms.
• Insect attack and nutrient deficiency.
• Water standing at the base of the tree.
• Improper pollination.

• Make sure water does not collect at the base of the tree even after heavy rain.
• Apply the necessary fertiliser to make up nutrient deficiencies.
• If insects attack, take preventive measures in advance and manage the attack afterwards.
• Do not apply any insecticide during pollination.
• Gibberellic acid can be used at this time.
• Even though little is needed, boron fertiliser must be used.
• Spray water in extreme heat.
• Provide shade if necessary.
• Attract bees for the pollination needed.

Regular care is needed to reduce flower and fruit drop. Following the scientific methods described above will also raise yields and keep trees healthy.
