Wednesday, 30 September. From Rangamati to Bogura and from Pabna to Moulvibazar, Prothom Alo's photographers captured a day of fields, lake, birds and flowers across the country.
At Swarnatila in Rangamati, fishermen worked Kaptai Lake, while at Kaukhali a woman sat in her yard working a wooden mortar and pestle (photos: Supriyo Chakma). At Uthli in Shibganj, Bogura, a farmer tended a cauliflower field as a flock of white egrets settled in the next field (photos: Soel Rana).
Carambola trees were in flower near the Manu bridge in Moulvibazar (photo: Akmal Hossain). Lotus bloomed in a pond at Maligachha in Pabna, and a black-hooded oriole perched on a branch at Atmile (photos: Hasan Mahmud).
A bee-eater sat on a power line at Lakchatal in Sreepur, Gazipur (photo: Sadik Mridha), wild flowers lined a path at Dhangara in Raiganj, Sirajganj (photo: Sajedul Alam), and a butterfly rested on lantana at Narankhaiya in Khagrachhari (photo: Jayanti Dewan).
With autumn ending, early winter cauliflower is already going into the northern fields and fishing goes on in the lake; the pictures catch that rural bustle.
